I’m currently installing Sims 2. I wanted to play the original Sims, but only have the Hot Date for some reason.
But Sims 2 will do. As I love me some Sims and Sims 3 has been a bit much for me lately. Too many options and stuff. I like my games simple.
Went shopping yesterday. Say I did pretty good. Except for the fact I still don’t have shoes for our anniversary still.
Also I hope everyone went to their local record store yesterday for record store day. We didn’t get the new Scott Pilgrim video game soundtrack, as they sold out before we got there, but did get a pass to a private show at the store to see 1975 since we bought their record. So it evens out I guess.

I look happy but it was rough working out today. Sometimes you’re just not in the mood, but I did it anyways cause I always feel proud for doing it after.

UGH. This week has been trying. My babes has been working 15 hour days, so I haven’t seen him much at all. Which has totally sucked balls and I’m really starting to miss him. Even if he’s in a strange state because at this point the lack of sleep has made him a little loopy. I’ll take loopy babes to no babes any day of the week.
Plus work has been busy and dealing with strong personalities who think they know how to design. At least I felt better about my skills today when I found out I’m the first to get this person to go with a major, more design proper, change to a newsletter that everyone else has worked on at one point or another. (I love that I work in a team environment now.)
Overall, what I’m trying to say is I’ve been rather lonely, sore/in-pain (due to broken toe and messed up back), and tired. I’m keeping positive though, cause it won’t be forever and I’ve got it easy compared to my man, who I’m super proud of cause his been kick ass and his boss has been noticing. I love my man and he’s the hardest working guy I know.
Now I’m going to go stuff my face with mac and cheese, and possible fish sticks and totes as well. ‘Cause I’m just going to consume all of my favorite kid foods tonight and watch Arrested Development, making notes of party ideas, and maybe have another beer. But mostly stuff my face with food, cause that’s the best thing to do after a long week. Right?
Despite my best efforts, it would appear I’m falling apart. First a broken toe and now I did something to my back at work to the point where I had to leave.
So I did aerial yoga for the first time last night with some girlfriends. It’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had working out!
I can’t wait to do it again and highly suggest everyone to try it. Even if there are some risk factors. I may have broken my middle toe on my left foot.
Which sucks cause now I won’t be able to workout for at least a week. Well I may try and do some arm and ab stuff later in the week.
But either way, once my toe is better I’ll be going back!
